Cooley Auctions dominated at the 2013 Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW) Auctioneer’s Award for Excellence held yesterday (Tuesday 25 June) with auctioneers Andrew Cooley and Paul Millett taking out 2 of the 3 finalist positions in the competition that recognises the industry’s highest standards in NSW auctioneering.
Cooley Auctions Director Damien Cooley was proud of the team. “Since 2003 Cooley Auctions auctioneers have been consecutive finalists in these awards and this year is no exception. Our clients know that when they book an auction with Cooley Auctions they are getting the highest level of skill and expertise our industry has to offer, and these awards reinforce this understanding”, said Mr Cooley.
Taking place in front of a panel of judges, contestants performed a mock live residential property auction of a 4 level, 6 bedroom, landmark 1871 harbourfront home in Birchgrove. According to the REINSW, competitors were judged against a range of criteria including their description of the property, ability to handle the bidding, correctly answering bidders’ questions and presentation.
