At Cooley Auctions we're grateful for the support that the community's shown us and we're always conscious of the need to give something back. We're supporters of a number of charities and our auctioneers regularly volunteer their services to conduct charity auctions.
One charity that's particularly close to our hearts is Father Chris Riley's Youth off the Streets program which has helped countless homeless young Australians turn their lives around.
Damien and his wife Peppi spend one night a month working in the charity's food van, and this year he went one big step further by starting the inaugural Cooley Golf Classic. Held at St Michael’s Golf Club, it involved a live auction, raffle prizes and on-course competitions, raising an enormous $22,000 for this worthy cause. The Youth off the Streets team was delighted with the initiative and expressed their deep appreciation for the incredible generosity shown by the Eastern Suburbs real estate community.
The event will be held again next year and we'll announce the date and course later in the year.
