Sydney’s leading independent auctioneering company Cooley Auctions today announced it has been selected to perform the auctions for Channel Ten’s hit reality TV series The Renovators to take place later this month.
Marketed through real estate agency Century 21, the six renovated properties located throughout Sydney commenced a three-week sales campaign with the first open homes on the weekend, and with the auctions to take place on site on Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 September 2011.
Cooley Auctions Director Damien Cooley was excited to participate in the series. “It’s a wonderful privilege that Cooley Auctions has been selected as the auctioneers of choice for The Renovators and I think Channel Ten’s decision is testament to our employing some of the best auctioneers in the country, along with the fact that we command a strong Sydney Metropolitan Market Share and brand awareness.
"I will be performing the auctions along with my colleagues, and we can’t wait to get in there and achieve the highest price possible for these properties”, he said.
Well accustomed to the role of reality TV auctioneer, Damien Cooley performed an auction in both series two and four of Channel Nine’s reality TV series The Block, as well as on Channel Seven’s documentary series Under the Hammer that went to air in July 2010.
Currently operating in the Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Inner West, South West, Illawarra, and St George, Sutherland Shire and Hills District, Cooley Auctions is now in its ninth year and employs 11 auctioneers who all meet the brand’s profile for being a vibrant, extremely energetic and highly professional team of auctioneers.
