Outstanding Auction Results

April 2009 has been an eventful month with the Easter weekend early in the month and Anzac day falling on a Saturday. The week leading up to Easter was a particularly busy time for us with a high volume of property being auctioned in the 7 days prior. Cooley Auctions handled 231 property transactions in the month with strong results and sales plentiful.

Auctioneer Christopher Mourd sold 3/40 Smith Street Surry Hills, marketed through BresicWhitney Estate Agent Darren Pearce, for a staggering $715,000, $65k above its reserve. 104 Short Street Birchgrove sold through Sarah Lorden Real Estate agent Carol Leddon for $1,127,000 well above its anticipated selling price and reserve. Auctioneer Shayne Harris sold 3/3 for Rich & Olivia Real Estate Marco Errichiello on Saturday 18th April, with one of the results being 28 Linthorne Avenue Croydon Park selling for a brilliant result of $817,000.
