The Current Market
A combination of increased grants for first home buyers and reduced interest rates have had a dramatic impact on sales at the 'affordable' end of the property market. Agents remarking that first home buyer interest has increased substantially, in-fact rising by 21.3% in December (as quoted by ABS), the best result in seven years.
This has also been evident in our auction results post-Christmas, with properties around the $500,000 mark attracting frenzied bidding and strong sales. At many of our auctions in this price range we have seen up to 18 registered bidders all competing for the same property. Cooley Golf Classic - Save the Date
The Cooley Golf Classic will be held this year on Friday 22nd May 2009 at St Michaels Golf Course. Our Inaugural golf day was an amazing success raising over $20,000 for Father Chris Riley's charity, "Youth Off The Streets". Youth Off The Streets supports chronically homeless and drug addicted young Australians as they work to turn their lives around.
This year's golf day is going to be bigger and better than our first. Information will be coming soon to book your team in to what is arguably one of the best golf
day's on the calender.
Look forward to seeing you there. Damien |
